Welcome to Boonies Gear, nestled in the northern Utah mountains in the small town of Morgan. Boonies was first established in 2018 when we decided we had a desire to share our passion for the outdoors with everyone.
Boonies Gear is owned and operated by us… Jennifer & Lance Hancock. When we were first married we both discovered that we loved doing things outdoors, especially exploring the beautiful land around us. Our first adventures together led us to the deserts of Moab Utah where we would camp in the sand and enjoy the many off-road trails in our 1973 international scout. Latter, as our family grew, we traded in the old Scout for four-wheelers and spent many nights in the mountains of Utah and Wyoming camping under the stars and riding amazing trails. We now have four boys, a dog, a camp trailer and our passion for the outdoors is now even stronger.
Over time we became dissatisfied with our current jobs and decided we need a change. Our love for the outdoors eventually led us to open an online store selling the camping products we enjoy. Our new goal is to help other people enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. With the support of friends and family, we now own and operate booniesgear.com.
Boonies was solely an online store until October of 2021 when a desire to open a retail location in our hometown of Morgan be came a reality. Having a brick and mortar location has given us the opportunity to sell a range of new and fantastic products. We are excited to work with our awesome customers and to share our passion of the outdoors with everyone!
